Kerry Macinnis
Kerry found yoga later in life but in her own words, all the gyms, sports and workout regimes all lead her to her yoga mat. With a psychology degree and a masters in life, Kerry feels that you can never stop learning and will forever be a student. Showing up on the mat the first time around was due to an injury which prevented her from continuing in her sport. Once yoga “fixed” her injury, she moved back to her sport. Life continued onward, however, what worked before didn’t quite work anymore for her body.
Finding her way back to her mat, showing up and focusing on “just breathing” opened an entire new way of seeing herself, her body, movement and most importantly, creating free mental and emotional space to just be.
Kerry has a deep love of ashtanga yoga. In her continued learning and forever being a student has led her to teach yin yoga, slow flow and vinyasa flow which gives her the opportunity to go deeper into what is possible with self and how she moves throughout the world both on and off the mat.
Kerry welcomes everyone to the mat to join her in exploring what is possible for oneself. Just show up, breath and see….
